Our Story

Rooted in Pennsylvania, plated with care

Golden Spoon Kitchen opened its doors in 2018 with a simple idea: bring honest, beautifully-prepared food to the small but vibrant community of Millheim. We started with five tables, a wood-fired oven, and a deep respect for the farmers and producers who surround us.

Six years later, we've grown into a full-service restaurant — but the philosophy hasn't changed. Our menu shifts with the seasons. Our breads, pastas, and desserts are made in-house every morning. Our suppliers are local whenever possible. And every plate is built around the ingredient at its peak.

We are independently owned and operated by Khalia Samar Whigham. We are proud members of the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association and hold a Grade A rating from the Centre County Health Department.
